The weird thing to me about that movie is how much of it looked like the house I was an fantastic and very young child in. Like, the kitchen, the color of the carpet. My grandmother had that infamous tv, and the actress that plays the mother looks so much like my mom did at the time, that I think that’s the real reason that movie is even remotely scary to me.
